Noel Gallagher says he is ‘proud’ of his brother Liam

Noel Gallagher has spoken warmly about reuniting with his brother Liam on the Oasis Live ’25 tour, admitting he is “proud” of him and rediscovering how “funny” he is. Their return to Ireland at the weekend saw two sold-out nights at Dublin’s Croke Park, an experience Noel described as “completely blown away” by the reaction from fans. The reunion marks 15 years since Oasis’s dramatic split in 2009, when Noel walked away after a backstage fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Speaking to talkSport, Noel praised Liam’s commanding stadium presence, saying it wasn’t his own style but adding: “Good for you, mate. He’s been amazing.” He also reflected on the joy of sharing the stage again with Liam and original guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, calling it “great just to be doing it again.” The tour has already played in several UK cities, with global dates lined up across North America, Mexico, Australia and Japan. Noel admitted he had underestimated the scale of the shows, confessing his “legs turned to jelly” during the opening night in Cardiff, but described the whole experience as “truly amazing” and at times beyond words.
